Who we are

Wedding Memories is a photo and video sharing service operated by Nick Miller & Stefan Luchian. It allows wedding guests to upload memories which are made available to the wedding couple.

What data we collect

When you upload a memory, we collect:

• The photo or video file you choose to share
• Optionally: your name, email address, phone number, and a message for the couple
• Technical metadata: file type, file size, upload timestamp, and the language you used

If you sign in as a wedding organiser, we store the email address associated with your Google account via Amazon Cognito.

Analytics cookies

With your consent, we use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how the site is used — for example, which pages are visited and how long sessions last. No advertising cookies are used. You can withdraw consent at any time by clearing your browser's local storage for this site.

Google Analytics is configured with Consent Mode v2. If you decline, no analytics data is collected or sent to Google.

How we store your data

All data is stored on Amazon Web Services infrastructure in the EU (Ireland, eu-west-1). Uploaded files are stored in Amazon S3. Metadata is stored in Amazon DynamoDB. Uploaded files are retained for up to 10 years unless deleted earlier by the wedding organiser.

Who sees your data

Your upload and any contact details you provide are shared with the wedding couple (the organisers of the specific event you uploaded to). We do not sell or share your data with any third parties beyond the infrastructure providers listed above.
